Snickers on Recall!!!Registration

Registering for classes is easy. All classes are pre-registered at Canine Counselors so that we can make sure you get the class you want, and so that we can manage class size effectively. Just call or e-mail me and I will send you (by snail mail or FAX) the information packet and registration form for the class most convenient for you, or you can print off the registration form by clicking on the link below and mail it to the address provided. If you would like to pay by credit card, simply click on the link at the bottom of this page for easy, instant, and secure payment through PayPal. We cannot hold space in any beginner class until payment of the class fee is received, and we encourage you to register and pay promptly to make sure you get the class you want.

Beginner classes are offered on most weekday evenings as well as on Saturday mornings. Our locations are in Cedar Hill, Duncanville and Red Oak. Classes are offered in indoor, air-conditioned buildings, and some classes are outdoors during the summer.

Fees for Beginner classes are $180 for the 7 week course. Dogs adopted from the Tri-City Animal Shelter receive a discounted fee if they attend a City of Cedar Hill sponsored class.

Fees for the Novice class are $40/month.

At Canine Counselors, we want our students to understand that training is an ongoing process over time. Our 7-week Beginner class is designed to give you and your dog a great start on the basics of control and good manners. Many times students tell us they would like to work a little longer on the basic exercises before considering an advanced class. Perhaps they started with a young puppy that needs to grow up a little, had a female come into season during the class, or they missed a class or two due to illness or some other problem. Maybe they didn’t complete all the objectives of the Beginner class, or just enjoy working with their dog. Rather than attend another Beginner class, we encourage these students to come to Beginner II class. In Beginner II, you will attend a shortened course in which the emphasis is on core exercises and the goal is to get you up to speed quickly. This 4 week course is $50, is only for students who have attended Beginner class, and is offered periodically throughout the year.
